Fix

My cousin called me the other day ~ Blah , blah , blah , blah , blah .... She spent 2 hours telling me all the things wrong with her husband . I decided there is no one , no matter how loving ,  kind and patient ,  who could fill the hole of dissatisfaction in her life . She is so convinced that if she can simply “ fix ”  her husband and make him the “ right ” kind of person , all her unhappiness will come to an end .

My cousin demonstrated that unhappy ppl have an uncontrollable urge to interfere in the lives of others . This is specially evident with loved ones  .

But to fix  ,  control  ,  push  ,  and make others into what you think one should be ,  is not  love .  Yup  ,   love doesn’t do any of these things . Love offers support and encouragement when one WANTS to change but it resists the temptation to try and change others.

So I told my cousin get her eyes off all that is “ wrong ” with her hubby ,    coz if she refuse to accept others as they are her misery will  only continue indefinitely .  

Yup  ,  we should all focus on what we can improve about who we are . Give ourselves  ,  and the imperfect world around us a break   !!!!!!!
