Rat Race
Some ppl that I know are at the crossroads in life ~ Seemingly , I am not alone ~ But am I supposed to feel good knowing that I am not alone ?
All we rodents run round and round chasing our ultimate goals , but one day , our priorities changed ~ perhaps it's after we missed a step and got our tail trapped ~ then we realize life is not juz work and get our work done . Life is not all about getting all stressed up and having nightmares . It's no longer about making $$$$ . Money will never be enough . But we will soon learn to live within our means .
Life is unpredictable ~ have I done all that I need to do in this life ~ for I might not have another chance ~ Yup , the clock is kicking and doesn't turned back . The past is gone , and I know I can only look forward to whatever is left of the future .
How much time do I have left ? a minute ? a day ? a year ? another whole decade ? ~ I honestly have no clue !
Perhaps the only thing I can do is start anew ~ when it's not too late ........ A simpler lifestyle ~ Away from all the rats and rat race .
