Vanishing Act
One moment he's a part of her life ~ things between them seem to be going along rather nicely ~ @ least ,that's what my frd ,Daisy thinks . Then the next moment ~ Like David Copperfield's vanishing act ~ D-I-N-G ! He's gone ! No more contact . No explanation .
Now that he's disappeared ,her private hell has just begun ~ she's trying so hard to figure out what went wrong . Questioning her perception of what they both shared . Dealing with a range of reactions , from bewildered to denial to sadness to resentment ... But there's nothing she can do about it ~ chasing after a person with desperate emails , phone calls , and text messages are not her practice . She keeps reminding herself that unlike a magician's vanishing act , his disappearance-that-defies-explanation is NOT a harmless illusion . Really ,it's a dramatic statement that he just doesn't wannabe a significant part of her life .
She knows she'll probably never find out exactly why he went away coz the vanishing man does what's necessary to avoid having the dreaded unpleasant confrontation with her.
Now that she find men are just as confusing and complex as any woman ~ perhaps even more so !!!
I absolutely agree with her ~ Sometimes I find men are masters of the ' Lightswitch ' ~ A dark and evil trait which I have yet to fully understand but have nonetheless fallen victim to !!!! It's the uncanny ability to change behavior or turn feelings on and off at the flick of a switch without ever batting an eye .
One moment they tell you how much they love you , the next moment they deliver the most painful blow ~ you cease to exist . It's as if they permanently erased you from their memories while you're left wondering how it is that you are so easily forgettable .
Men are so c-o-m-p-l-i-c-a-t-e-d !!!!!!!!
