Frds with benefits seems to be a growing trend ~ Ppl of all ages are doing it.
Call me old-fashioned , I deplore the growing disconnect between the physical and the emotional, between casual bonds and true intimacy.
You may ask ~ well , if it's consensual , what's the problem ?
But is that enough of a bottom line ? Shouldn't we set higher standards for ourselves , not to mention our frds ?
One of my frd admit that she has a really high sex drive . She likes to have sex DAILY ~ if possible . She's single , but she told me she's happy to sleep with any guy in her online contact list just to meet her quota !!!!
I can't help but wonder ~ Do ppl these day consider sex as pure recreation!!!!
Sex is so much more than a physical workout . Why not hit the gym , take up squash , hit the dance floor ......... or even masturbate ~ if you need to work off pent up energy !!!!!
Come on , Please give sex and yourself the respect you and it deserve . Sex is sacred , so are you ~ though our culture has done an excellent job of making sex and ppl appear profane !!!!!
Sex isn't just for rocking your physical world ~ it's a portal to the emotional , mental and even spiritual realms , if you open up to it .
Ask yourself this ~ what kind of frd takes one of the most valuable gifts you can give , just to get off ? And why do you wanna connect in such a deep way with someone whom you have no interest in being in relationship ?
