Guilty Pleasure

Sometimes I think we are all masochistic ~ We often do things we know we shouldn’t do for it does us no good @ all. An example? ~ I think lots of gals like me can't resist the temptation of  sweets, like chocolate n ice cream ~ even if we know they're not good for our health and will do damage to our silhouette, but they're so addictive .
Same goes for love and relationship ~  We know him / her isn’t good for us, but for a reason, we fall desperately in love with the "devil" and hang on to that ill-fated relationship like a junkie.
Most of the ppl I know have told me they lost their head @ least once  for a total loser that didn’t treat them the way they should. They knew way from the beginning that person was a total jerk and treated them like a piece of dirt yet they couldn’t stay away from him /her ~  That person was like a drug to them, they  simply couldn't live w/o.  And some even told me they need to suffer in a relationship just to feel alive.
Why do we fool ourselves like that? According to psychologists, it's linked to the conduct of failure ~  we're attracted to the ones that are bad to us and we have difficulty to separate from them. We choose what puts us in a failure, even if a better choice appears to us at the same time. This happens becoz we have a low self-esteem.
But women, if you really wanna fall for men that will do you no good, then chose Ben & Jerry  ~  A guilty pleasure that I highly recommend.
