Judge

We've all heard the pharse ~ never judge a book by its cover ~  yet  when we see someone or a scenario, we still tend to jump in quickly to judge. Guess it's human nature and have to take years of practice before we can actually learn to see things in an objective manner.

When I was a little kid , my mom once told me “If you keep looking @ ur feet , ur scope of view will forever be around ur feet only. But if you raise ur head to look @ the horizon, ur scope of view will be magnified many times and you'll bound to have new perspective or view.”

Somehow I think judging ppl upon first impression is like walking with ur head down lurking @ ur feet,  what you see is very limited.

Guess many of you have read  this well circulated on-line story  ~  a man in a train on a certain day and sitting near to him was a father and his son. The boy was making a terrible racket in the train but his father just sat beside his son quietly w/o stopping him. The man finally asked the father to discipline the boy from creating so much noise in the train. The father said, “I'm really sorry that my boy is creating such a terrible racket in the train. His mother juz passed away and he doesn't know how to handle the trauma.”

No doubt  ,  the world would be much nicer if ppl are more understanding and look @ things from a telescopic view.

Peace
