Ale Voyage De La Vie

As I walk into the darkness of this nite, with the shallow light of the moon as my guide ，my thots drift to the yrs that have long since faded, like whispers of times past ，to the time when the journey first began ..... To a time when youth and strength of soul would not allow defeat or despair ，and of the days and nites of this long fruitless journey. I've come to realize that YOUTH was my closest frd ... YOUTH always creating new hope when a peek over the next horizon showed barren emptiness ，YOUTH always having new strength to carry on ...

Now this YOUTH which was once my only companion ， and walked with me stride for stride has long since left my side ， ebbing and fading slowly with each step ，till the day it was gone forever ... never to return ...

Now I have taken on a new companion to walk with me thru this journey... this journey of life ，and I shall never again be alone ..... for this new companion is AGING ..... AGING shall walk by my side forever ...

With this realization comes the wisdom of knowing that all was not in vain ， and each new horizon truly does draw me closer to this place called Eden ..... the land of peace ...... The day I know will come ..... when my companion ，AGING，finally tires of this long journey ...

I wonder  ~  will I be worthy of this place ， or  have I been polluted by the very things I have long sought to escape. Once there will I be cast out ， and damned to wander again .....  aimlessly .... for eternity. Will this nite find Eden , or will a new sunrise find another day .....
