Vow

" I _________ , take you _________ , to be my wife / husband , to have and to hold from this day forward , for better or for worse , for richer , for poorer , in sickness and in health , to love and to cherish , from this day forward til death do us part ! "

 

So did you really mean it when you said it ? Are you still keeping ur promise ?

I can't help but wonder  ~  is monogamy possible in the 21th century ? 

For my part , I simply observe that ppl have difficulty with monogamy in today's society . 

When ppl get married they make a promise to be faithful to each other  ~  Monogamy is instantly assumed as part of the deal . Unfortunately we all have to face the reality and day-to-day chores . Excitement is not a permanent state . Routine and familiarity is boring ... Marital bliss wanes  ~  no matter how strongly they feel for each other in the beginning of their union !

 Yup , sadly  ,  a vow can NEVER immune from affairs !!
