Infidelity

To me  ,   fidelity is one of the most important qualities   ~  especially when it comes to  partnership .

But everywhere I turn  ,   I see many men / women cheating on their partners and then expecting them to hang around for the humiliation  ,  when they would never do the same .
 

I see quite a bit of ppl showing contempt for those who choose to be loyal in the face of embarrassment or adversity  ,  calling them suckers or assuming they are somehow up to no good.

Do modern ppl truly understand the value of loyalty  ?  Or ppl today are increasingly out for only themselves ?
